I bought this adorable sewing kit for my 7 year old granddaughter because she asked me to teach her how to sew. We had a lot of fun starting with a cute soft dog. Good felt quality. 2 good needles to get through the eye. We divided the thread, which is the embroidery thread, into 2 parts (3 thin threads per thread). Roulette is good too, and she likes pins because they have colored heads. The scissors could have been a bit sharper as we struggled to cut the thread unless we split it into finer threads. She can't wait to finish her first piece and I've heard her say the word FUN many times, with a big smile on her face when she finishes her task. We look forward to continuing to sew with this all-inclusive kit. She sews, I lead. Excellent customer service from this company too!
