having to keep trying to look at the ruler from a different angle to escape the glare of my overhead lights; Often I just don't see the measurement. Making a ruler anti-glare seems like an easy task for those who make such a tool. As other reviewers have pointed out, when I fasten it at both ends, the ruler wobbles no matter how tight I twist it. So I'm not sure if it's really square. And on the one hand that shiny finish just turns black - I think I must be crazy expecting a $10 tool to last more than 2 years.
