This tripod is very cheaply made, which can be a good thing if you don't plan to move it around too much. The biggest problem is that the tripod post is slightly curved (i.e. not straight up and down). This means that the image from the webcam is not smooth. To fix this, I order a tripod ball mount that allows the webcam to be pointed in all directions. I was disappointed with the overall quality of the product but it was relatively inexpensive and with a ball mount purchased separately it would probably be fine for my needs. Lesson learned again: you get what you pay for.
