I bought an 18" Cameo dogbone adapter (TT-30 male to TT-50 female) with the same connector on one end that I cut off and put through this one replaced device. I had to do this to make an RV park power cord adapter with internal AC cord connectors suitable for connecting an EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment). The EVSE I use runs on 125 or 250VAC up to 50A. However, due to the lack of an available TT-50 outlet at the RV park, I wanted a backup option to plug my EVSE into a TT-30 outlet. In this case the power source is 125V to 30A instead of 250V to 50A. However, this combination of Cameo products is perfect for this situation and still charges my electric car much faster than just plugging it into a standard socket (domestic ) is connected to 115 VAC (15 A).
