Review on Wagner BC129202 Premium Brake Cable by Quintin Boner

Not sure if I have a bad cable or what, but the cable "broke" after just one ride. I drove my truck up a hill to make sure the parking brake would hold me after my new cable was installed. After the first test, where the truck ran normally, further tests saw the truck slide down the slope with the parking brake on. each time it gets worse and worse. I drove the truck back to the garage and adjusted the cables, thinking maybe they were a little stretched. While adjusting and checking the brake pedal, I felt something click. Upon inspection of the cable, the plastic sheath covering the steel-sheathed inner cable was torn and clumped, preventing the cable from being routed through the outer sheath. This happened during normal operation. I have not abused the cable in any way or otherwise subjected it to unreasonable forces. My replacement cable from another brand that doesn't have an inner plastic jacket works fine.
