We received this pan yesterday. Had breakfast this morning and noticed that the trim is coming off in the wash. I'm so angry and disappointed. I usually avoid non-stick pans for fear of food breaking off while cooking. But I saw the ads and read some really good reviews. This morning we used our new skillet to make some scrambled eggs. We cooked over medium heat, using only a wooden spatula to cook the eggs. A little later, my husband was washing dishes and showed me that small chips appeared all over the pan. I am shocked. We used to buy cheap nonstick pans from Walmart and they lasted at least a year before they started cracking. But we stopped buying them and tried to switch to better pots that last a long time. It is totally unacceptable for something used for cooking to break, especially after a single use. I will be returning for a refund and will not buy again.
