Nice and slim, but HUGE and heavy!

The 12" Blue Diamond frypan with lid is really nice but surprisingly big, more burners on the stovetop. It cooks well and the eggs don't stick at all. I like that one Pot really and wish they would offer the same sleek design with a lid in a 10" pot. The pot and glass lid are surprisingly heavy. I had no issues with the handle getting hot.

Pros
  • Stainless steel handle with rivets for a secure and comfortable grip
Cons
  • Some flaws

Act! Best in grill pan

Love it. It's a good weight, absolutely nothing burns on it and it's beautiful. I would give it a 5 but it can heat up slowly and when it reaches temperature it slowly loses heat. Example. I turned the stove on on 6 for grilled cheese, saw a fairly slow process and flipped it - ended up burning one side and the other was done in a quarter of the time. This isn't a bad trait, just something to keep in mind when adapting to a new pan. I bought a tiny egg pan and then an 8 inch pan and have been…

Pros
  • Metal cookware safe, the signature Blue Diamond diamond-coated ceramic non-stick coating is 5 times stronger and 10 times more durable than traditional coatings
Cons
  • Only available in black

Great for the first 2 months, then useless

It's so hard to find a good nonstick pan! I thought wow I finally found the one I love. It was non-stick and evenly distributed heat for the first few months, and then the material on top just wore out. We always wash pots by hand and do not use abrasive sponges or soaps. The pan is no longer flat so wobbles on the electric stove and now everything sticks even when using oil. Now it's useless :( At first I loved this pan so much that I bought another one, but in a larger size, now I regret it.

Pros
  • Diamond is 4 times more conductive than copper, so Blue Diamond heats up faster and is easier to clean
Cons
  • Minor issues

Groceries stuck from first use!

I don't know if this is common or if I just received a defective product. The pan has an area where food not only sticks, it makes it almost impossible. I thought it might just be because it's new, but after a few uses it turned out to be a constant problem. I can't return it because I've kept it for too long. I would return it if I could, but I think I'll only eat $30+. Like I said I didn't get it back fast enough so be careful and use it multiple times at a time so if it sticks like mine…

Pros
  • Suitable for ovens and grills up to 600°F
Cons
  • Infinitely slow

Eggs will stick to this pan unless you oil the pan

Eggs will NOT stick to the pan. About half of the egg will stick to the pan. (I mix three and get 2-1/2.) If I had known the eggs would stick I wouldn't have bought them. It's big and it would be a hassle to return it, so for only thirty-five dollars I got another pan that doesn't do the trick. The pan still cleans up easily with dish soap, but I wanted the eggs to be on the plate and not going down the drain.

Pros
  • Warp Control Base: Sturdy forged base prevents warping, wobbling or breaking over time
Cons
  • small items

To deform or not to deform?

I finally thought I'd found a pan that doesn't warp, I mostly cook on medium to low heat and after about five or six uses I noticed the Big Blue wobbled a bit , on further research i noticed that it doesn't lay flat on the hob, i cook on the hob with a smooth surface, definitely easy to clean, i wouldn't recommend using cooking sprays but buying a spray container to hold it in olive oil or whatever can use - Any other type of oil in it, the cooking spray will leave marks on the surface of the…

Pros
  • All except induction
Cons
  • There are nuances

Canceled after one use!

We received this pan yesterday. Had breakfast this morning and noticed that the trim is coming off in the wash. I'm so angry and disappointed. I usually avoid non-stick pans for fear of food breaking off while cooking. But I saw the ads and read some really good reviews. This morning we used our new skillet to make some scrambled eggs. We cooked over medium heat, using only a wooden spatula to cook the eggs. A little later, my husband was washing dishes and showed me that small chips appeared…

Cons
  • Hard to say

To be fair: Grill Pans

I think this pan would be good but I need to know the right temperature for eggs (e.g. ) , especially the omelette. 2 days in a row (just got the pot) I've had trouble getting my burner set up properly. First I need a smaller pan so I ordered an 8 inch pan just for my breakfast or small reheat etc. At first I wanted to return them and then thought it was my fault as the instructions were given but every stove can be different with heat settings and pot burner so I will try to adjust the heat. i

Pros
  • Sturdy glass lid for easy food control, suitable for use in the oven up to 225°F
Cons
  • Not sure

I'm thrilled so far

Edit - still great. I cooked about 20 dishes in it and they were all cooked to perfection. However, I will say that you have to be VERY careful with the finish. Without thinking, I tapped the side with the spoon, and a small indentation formed on its rim. It's barely noticeable, but it's a good indication of how easily this coating can scratch. Personally, I wouldn't even put it in the dishwasher. Although I calmly wash it off with a soft sponge after use. For the price, he cooks like a champ…

Pros
  • Dishwasher safe for easy cleaning
Cons
  • too stupid
