Groceries stuck from first use!

I don't know if this is common or if I just received a defective product. The pan has an area where food not only sticks, it makes it almost impossible. I thought it might just be because it's new, but after a few uses it turned out to be a constant problem. I can't return it because I've kept it for too long. I would return it if I could, but I think I'll only eat $30+. Like I said I didn't get it back fast enough so be careful and use it multiple times at a time so if it sticks like mine you'll get it back.
