Oh my god! How sweet! How could you make something so strong and yet folded so small that it is not fragile? It's all about materials and design, and I'm just grateful that the portable cat box was invented! I was a bit shocked when it arrived in an envelope and I confess I had my doubts. Spent a little time having fun folding and unfolding this thing and checking the places it would fit. It is compact and lightweight and fits in my travel bag, purse, fanny pack, center console, glove box and under the floor mat. I also got my cats to use it a few days before the trip. I now had a box for a total of 2 round trips (Denver Florida) and 12 hotel stops with 2 cats. It's smaller than what cats are used to (a hefty 34 liter storage container, see picture) but is the perfect size for traveling with my two cats. None of my cats had any issues with it and the size was big enough to go about their business, not oversprayed and sturdy enough to handle a 13lb potash. While the interior is easy to clean, I'm quick and easy when hotel rooms are so used to it and recommend disposable liners for a 5 second clean. I also travel with Rusty (my dachshund) and if you have a dachshund you know you can't have one without the other so always have puppy diapers on hand. This isn't necessary, but if you have a cat like Loki that likes to "throw out" litter, it still ends up outside the crate, so puppy diapers underneath come in handy. This is a great investment for traveling with two cats! Excellent value for money and quality!
