hooks appear to be of very good quality. I hung a few of these for items in my garage and workshop. This kit also includes an additional metal bracket/shackle that slides over the hook during installation to provide additional reinforcement. This item is not included with any of the other similar hook sets I have purchased from Revain. Because of the way it's installed I don't think it adds any extra strength as the weight of the items on the hooks usually puts a rotational force on the welds. At best, this simply keeps the hook from falling off the wall if the welds come loose. Regardless, I think these hooks are of good quality and at least on par if not better than others available from Revain.
