Review on 🔧 Enhanced Performance Delphi FD0037 Universal Fuel Pump for Efficient Fuel System Functionality by Alex Winnick

Installed on 1983 Nissan 720 Pickup Truck. The pump works great. They send different size adapters and fuel lines, but I didn't use any fuel lines. Although it may be useful for some. My old pump case was grounded and my wiring harness ground was bolted to the case screw. I bolted the ground and wire harness of this pump to the frame. My pump had 2 mounting screws, this one has 1. It's just different but it works fine. This is a general purpose pump after all, just to say what I did for this truck. My only concern is that the fuel line from this pump runs under the protection of my old pump. No problem yet, but I'm nervous that it might get scratched by a rock or something. Again, this is not the pump's fault, just my application. I could find a 90⁰ elbow and solve this problem. The only thing that worries me is not much. Installation Guide. Some pumps state that they are mounted horizontally. This pump does not specify how to install it, other than that it must be under the top of the tank. My old pump was vertical. I was able to tilt it slightly to fit the old cage, but I don't know if a near-vertical mount will fit as the instructions don't specifically say so. But so far it works and the deviation from the vertical is about 2⁰. So far there are no leaks and gas is flowing into the 4-cylinder engine.
