Review on NGFF M.2 NVMe SSD Convert Adapter Card: Upgrading MacBook Air 2013-2017 & Mac Pro Retina 2013-2015 by Joel Norfork

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Poor quality material, partially broken, fell into place.

Works (so far), but the top lip on one side (the top black part where the m.2 nvme SSD goes) of the adapter came loose, only to be reconnected before reconnecting SSD was pushed into place. It hasn't really broken contact yet, but no matter how the upgraded SSD works in my Macbook Pro 13 Retina (Early 2015, A1502), it's definitely expanding and contracting all the time, and sooner or later this adapter protrusion will cause the Losing contact or just breaking off completely and my SSD disappears from the system as long as power is connected and the HDD is in use. with him for at least two more weeks. I think I'll give this product another try and just replace it in the hopes that it was just a defective unit before moving on to another product.

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • Not happy with everything
