Poor quality material, partially broken, fell into place.

Works (so far), but the top lip on one side (the top black part where the m.2 nvme SSD goes) of the adapter came loose, only to be reconnected before reconnecting SSD was pushed into place. It hasn't really broken contact yet, but no matter how the upgraded SSD works in my Macbook Pro 13 Retina (Early 2015, A1502), it's definitely expanding and contracting all the time, and sooner or later this adapter protrusion will cause the Losing contact or just breaking off completely and my SSD…

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • Not happy with everything

Works great!

Hallelujah! Finally there is a cheap alternative to the unique MAC SSD connectors, literally for anyone who bought a 2013-2015 MacBook. All previous alternatives were really unreliable otherwise you would have to buy another overpriced option from Oura or whatever it's called. This works like a charm. Installation is very simple and straightforward - just watch a video available on YouTube. I heard that not all SSD brands work with MAC, but it worked in my case. I got a $140 1TB XPG Gaming SSD…

Cons
  • disappear

dared this unit as last time I used a synthesizer more than twice the price . Pair that with a 1TB black WD sn750 gen3x4 SSD. the writing speed increased from 1800 Mbit/s to 2500 Mbit/s and the recording speed from 1400 Mbit/s to 2100 Mbit/s. Since 2015 I haven't had to worry about hibernation issues and it still works like a champ. I'll try this again later on a 2014 model and see where it takes me. mbp 2015 has PCIe with Gen 3 with 4 lanes while 2013-2014 has Gen3 with 2 lanes, so 2015 is…

Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer model

So good you don't know your mac is out of stock

I usually get $10 off per item view. But this little guy works so well I thought it might be worth going over here and checking it out anyway. Earlier this year I took one of Revain's "other" M.2 adapters and installed it along with a compatible SSD. in my 2013 i7 MacBook Air. Performance was great, but my poor Mac also suffered from many reported waking issues, even after logging into Terminal to update sleep settings. Fast forward a few months to this little guy. I ended up selling my Air…

  • boring packaging
