Very impressed with computers and accessories

Very happy with the price. I live in the middle of nowhere and my cellular modem connects to Sprint's network. The ability to even keep in touch has recently gone to the trash. I don't know if it's a merger with T-Mobile or what. My bandwidth has always been in the 1-3 Mbps range - enough to watch movies without buffering, so that's enough for me. But this recent inability to stay connected has rendered everything unusable. First I tried a yagi I had which kinda helped for a while until it stopped. I had to try MIMO but I didn't want to invest a lot of money in a 4G system with 5G so I figured it was the cheapest way to get basic MIMO to see if that would help. My Findings: Well, the actual RSRP value might be a few dBm closer to zero, but it still seems pretty crappy at -105 dBm. The percentage signal strength increased by maybe 5% or so to 54%. None of that seemed very impressive at the time. However, after several speed tests, the results were phenomenal. I've consistently hit 40Mbps, which is the highest I've ever had. Network congestion sometimes pushes me back to my old range because I don't know if I've ever lost connection since installing these antennas, which in itself is a major accomplishment. I still do speed tests from time to time just to make sure it's legit LOL.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Makes me angry
