I had a misfire on cylinder 6 of my 97 4runner in February, after careful diagnosis I narrowed it down to the injector. Decided to change all 3 on the other side. After doing a lot of research on remanufactured vaporizers, I decided to use them even though I didn't have enough reviews. After installation, the car started perfectly, so I decided to change the nozzles on the other side along with the candles. so I bought 3 more 1 month later. 1 week after replacing the other 3 I get the misfire code again. this time on cylinders 4 and 6 (the side I changed 1 month ago). After re-diagnosing, it turned out that the injectors were not working. I even checked the compression to make sure the problem wasn't in the cylinder. I opened it up, put in my old working nozzles, everything went back to normal. The nozzles came in a sealed plastic bag in a small box. Everything looked clean, undamaged and like new. after talking to my mechanic friend he said i don't trust remanufactured or refurbished injectors, i don't even trust new after sale injectors. He recommended only buying OEM injectors. However, the price difference is large. I also heard that a lot of people got lucky and the jets were fixed within a year. I hope my other 4 hold up.
