Beautiful, but Flimsy and Not Easy to Install
These post cap lights are undoubtedly beautiful. But they are also incredibly flimsy. The only reason I kept them was because I was able to salvage the sturdy remains of previous post caps lights that had been damaged. The base which is supposed to attach to the 4x4 post was both flimsy and way too large and trying to find an alternative solution allowed me to come up with the idea to put the new lights in the old frame. The top of the post cap is sturdy and hopefully will stand the test of time. They also produced a lot of light right out of the box (focus in the pictures is on one light, not the other so one may seem dim, but it is not).
