Wow, that's one of the first things I can say about this edition of this game. I've been playing since the early 1989's when Battletech first hit stores. And over the years they have released a cleaner version of this great game. And this is the cleanest edition for beginners yet. Its content allows a new or old player to sit down and teach or learn the game very easily. For me that's a big plus. The box set even includes two high-quality plastic miniatures to use or collect. And some double-sided thick cardboard versions also perforate. Which is honestly a nice feature. There is also a good novel or mini story book to help you get into this game universe. Seriously, if you're looking at this and wondering if you should buy it to learn the game. I would recommend it. Because it will get your feet wet and its $20 price can't be beat. Great game to learn and play. Or collect.
