Purchased 2 red, 2 yellow, and 2 blue. Added batteries and tested them all. The blue and yellow were bright, but the red was a little less vibrant. All turned on just fine at first. I was sewing stick figure costumes for three kiddos. One strand per sweatshirt and one strand per pant. I spent 2 hours Hand stitching a red strand to some pants, and once finished, went to test it in the dark and it wouldn’t even turn on. We swapped batteries, tested Voltage. nothing. We then purchased another strand and it failed to deliver on time. So- my kid only had 1/3 a costume (see picture). For my daughter, one of her blue strands went out mid evening (after 3 hours). Upon further investigation, we found that the wires had all frayed and broken near the battery box. This should not have happened Considering the battery box was in her pocket the whole time. We even wrapped the wire in electric tape just in case. So… after all the work in designing and creating these costumes, we were out 1/3 of our purchase. And to top it off, we never received the extra one we ordered. So disappointing.
