Two months later the floss mechanism stopped working. Revane's return date had expired, so I called Waterpik. I was told they know the device will disable the GFCI circuits and I just need to reset the outlet. That means that (a) this thing isn't designed to work properly with coded outlets, and (b) I have to go to the electrical box in the basement because all the outlets in the bathroom are controlled by a GFCI circuit breaker.
