These Bosch blades are amazing!

Throughout life in the construction and woodworking industries, one has to deal with many innovations that try to improve on the tried and tested. And sometimes innovation succeeds. This product is one such example. Take the common shovel, which we've cursed countless times in the past. Add a few twists, tweak the product material and engineering, and you end up with a drill with an insatiable desire to eat wood and even a few pieces of steel to meet the need for iron in your diet. Bottom line, I'm impressed with these beats. Although I didn't test all size drill bits, the largest drill bit, 1 1/2 inch, cut through treated pine/spruce planks with ease and at least one tip of the screw caught unexpectedly. And according to the instructions for use, the drill goes along with everything, down to the final touch when the spiral comes out of the wood outside of the cut. The sharpened cutting edge even seems to prevent wood fiber build-up, a common situation with standard bits that will stop your cut and force you to remove and clean the bit. waste of time and effort. But not with the Daredevils I've tried. Note: Prepare before cutting larger bits. Newton's third law is in full force when the blade is cutting into a tree. If you don't, the drill will fly out of your hand. Now I'm looking for a generic size set, the real deal is here at Revain compared to the price per piece. This will be a great set for my next rough drilling needs. The only downside I can think of is that regrinding these bits would be quite difficult. I think at that point they will be disposable. On the other hand, later there are many, many boreholes.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
