Well, this box was too big for my battery. It's not the box itself, it's me. lol but it was too high for my application. The hood wouldn't close, but that's because of the space I need to work in the engine bay. But the box was bought with the intention of moving the battery in the near future. even if it's not finished, I still use the base. The strap is easy to use. although it seems a bit lost. You just have to do your due diligence to make sure it's tight and then it will stay tight. The box is well put together. Cables can be routed through the covers, it's designed for that and looks very neat. Unfortunately with the lid too high for my application. But with the cover OMG my engine bay looked sooooo neat and compact. I'll think of something to make the lid fit on a box in my engine bay. Great buy guys. but mind your measurements if you plan to use it in the engine bay.
