Instructions were very difficult to follow and almost impossible to adjust. It's basically pressed cardboard with wood grain plastic wrap. We accidentally used a screw that was too long (our mistake) so we could see the inside of this product - it was made of heavily compressed cardboard covered with a thin sheet of plastic. - not quite a laminate. Sad because I bought two - I'm a teacher and needed one for distance learning. I literally built a table lift out of old Amazon boxes taped together and it seems more durable!
