Works well. I like the gauge tube much more than the curved steel indicator that the park tool uses. I'm not a fan of sliding plastic blocks that you can use to gauge a wheel with a tire, as they are cumbersome, error-prone, and slow to use the tool. When I fix a wheel I always remove the tire and skewer so I don't need blocks. The blocks can be removed, but the measuring tube will not retract far enough to work without the blocks, so you must leave the blocks in place. This is my only complaint. This instrument is similar to the old VAR instrument which was great.
