I couldn't get the straw not to pop out on first use. When you finally figured it out (you have to snap the plastic piece under the lid) it became apparent that you can't close the spout (see photo). So I have the choice of trying to pull it out with tweezers every time I'm thirsty, or leaving the spout open at the risk of bugs getting into my water); Neither option is right for me. I'll send it back as soon as possible.
