We bought them because we often ride motorcycles on long trips. The weather conditions are great. Especially when it rains. You can pull the alligator up your back and pull down the visor so you can see in the rain and minimize the "needle and needle" feel of the rain on your face. We can't wear full face helmets because it feels like it. So they do their thing. They come with a sun visor and clear visor which is great.
