Not very high quality but worked for several months
When we received this item (late October 2015) the hard plastic screen cover was already falling off the screen. I used it anyway and the temperature sensor, although slow, worked well. I have been satisfied with the tenderness of different meats when shot at the right temperature. However, after three months of infrequent use this fall and winter, we can't read the temperature on the screen. The soft plastic is too loose for us to read. Love the concept and will buy another brand to replace it.
