I recently bought a 2015 F150 4x4. After years of owning four-wheel drive, I wasn't happy with how low my new truck sat, especially up front. It looked like a two wheeler! After looking at a lot of lift kits I settled on the Rough Country kit and my decision was supported by my brother who used to be a mechanic at an SUV shop who said he has "a lot of RC kits upstairs cart installed on it. years and they've been around for a long time." The kit itself is quite basic, what you see in the photo is what you get, all the components are of high quality. I was a bit concerned that the plastic spacers but they are just spacers and don't really see tensile forces only compressive forces.The kit was made in about four hours with two men plus a young nephew as a shop squirrel.We took our time to make sure everything went smoothly ran as often happens with any mechanical part that can fail!One thing that was quite vague in the instructions was realigning the posts after installing the spacers - once the spacers are installed the posts come back. The side that was originally facing out now faces in as the triangular pattern of the bolts is reversed after the washers were installed.Also forget n Be careful not to realign the bottom yolk on the rack BEFORE reinstalling the rack, otherwise you will have to remove it and do it on a workbench. (This will ensure the bolt plate is properly aligned with the lower arm mounting area). Some people say they jacked this kit up in their driveway in about four hours, but after doing it with my brother's jack I wouldn't do it. I didn't even try while lying on my back. I would pay to have it installed before doing it that way. In other words, if you have access to an elevator, I strongly encourage you to do so! I have attached before and after photos. The last photo shows the new 33-inch SUVs. All in all, this is a great value kit that will make my truck sit like a "proper" 4x4!
