I thought it might be the battery but replacing it didn't help. For the price and short lifespan, it is.
The first year worked very well, but then lost the ability to provide temperature and only gave Celsius. It doesn't switch to Fahrenheit. I thought it might be the battery but replacing it didn't help. Not worth the price and short lifespan.
