This is the best remote boot I've ever had and it was relatively cheap at 110 compared to the 350 my local network installer charges. Besides that, if you don't know what you're doing, it becomes a nightmare. Hooking up cables under the dash is never fun. If you don't even have experience installing head units (which is infinitely easier), just pay someone to install it. One problem is that it doesn't go through walls very well. My workplace is a large brick building about 500 meters from my parking lot. It doesn't work through a brick, but my cell phone barely works inside the building, so I wasn't expecting a miracle. You can always purchase the Smart Start add-on and just use your mobile phone.
