Best tire gauge I have ever had

I have had dozens of tire gauges of varying quality over the years, all at little cost or free. This and I am very happy with my decision. I was considering this and a Motion Pro Professional meter. I liked the Motion Pro's features and it looks better, but since they moved production to Taiwan I went with a US made intercom and saved $25 on the process. Aside from the aesthetics, the only feature the Motion Pro has over this intercom is that the hose swivels at both ends. You'll immediately see why this is beneficial when you first start using this gauge. Not enough to be a problem, but having the hose twist at both ends would be ideal. The gauge face is large and easy to read. The instructions are filled with glycerine, the instructions say to open the cap and deflate on first use Be careful when doing this, I used a thin flathead screwdriver to remove the cap and it quickly flew onto the back my bank, so I had to spend a few minutes looking for it. You have to remove the blue rubber cover to access the cover, which is an issue but not a big deal. The movement of the needle is slower than I expected when checking the print. liquid damping. This means you have to leave the cartridge on the valve a little longer than if it were filled with non-liquid. Again, this isn't a problem, I just haven't hit any sensors that aren't filled with liquid. Intercomp is a respected and innovative company in the motorsports industry and this is a quality product. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone looking for a professional tire gauge.
