Review on Stadea SWP101K: The Ultimate Variable Speed Wet Polisher Grinder For Concrete Countertop & Stone Polishing by John Roby

ok, but leaks out of the box, and trigger can get stuck

so the good - this stone polisher does the work - I was able to polish a large surface without it overheating, and I did not get an electric shock like some reviewers for a different brand warn. It's easy to control the speed, as well as the water flow. Now - the not so good.1. Defect / missing gasket causes leaking. I connected the brand new polisher to a brand new garden hose. Despite that, The connection between the garden hose and the polisher tube leaked profusely, even after being tightened to the max. A closer examination showed that the polisher side of the connection was missing a rubber washer. It should go under a round metal plate inside the female end of the connection. Water was freely flowing out of the gap. You need to use an Allen wrench + a regular wrench to unscrew the metal plate, add a gasket below it, screw the plate back on, and place another gasket on top of it. For a brand new $200 tool, I wasn't expecting to do have to do these gymnastics.2. Then, after about 30 minutes of use, the trigger got stuck in the On position - means I wasn't bale to turn the tool off. Since I wasn't right next to the outlet, I turned the speed dial down to 1, and then walked to the outlet and unplugged the polisher. If you think this is unsafe - I agree. I'm expecting a rotating power tool to NOT be stuck in the On position. (After some manipulation, with the polisher unplugged, I was able to get the trigger unstuck so it could be used safely.)So - bottom line, this polisher does what it's supposed to, but I expected higher quality for the price.
