Tired of the inkjet and ripe for the purchase of a laser machine. I dealt with various equipment (hp, brother, xerox, ricoh . etc), installed, configured from small printers to printing giants . But it turned out that the choice in the budget segment is quite small. HP on "new" cartridges is not attractive, people are aching for inadequate (in my opinion) prices, the closest competitor from ricoh with an automatic document feeder for scanning costs twice as much and weighs 35 kg . If it were not for the scanner automatic document feeder (very sometimes a useful thing), would stop at hp. I am satisfied with the purchase. The unpacking was a pleasant surprise: solid packaging, the cartridge and scanner feeder were additionally lined with cardboard. Included is a cable for connecting via USB (I did not need it, but I have it). The installation is quick and pleasant: I unpacked it, connected it to the router (via Lan), connected to the web interface via a browser (the standard login / password pair is admin/000000) and in a couple of clicks set up the printer to work with a home wifi network. All apparatus is ready to work! Settings on the computer - click on the installation file and select the installation with the operation of the MFP over the network. The disk is included, but just in case, I downloaded the distribution kit from the manufacturer's website (size `150mb). Setting up the phone on ios - downloaded the application, went in and clicked search (or indicated the ip of the MFP). I did not like the huge number of stickers on the front cover. Didn't install Fax as unnecessary. : I kind of described the standard installation, which should be for network MFPs, but I came across such idiocy that hp, brother and xerox have . and probably internally expected some kind of catch, which was very happy with the new acquisition.
