Review on ๐Ÿ’ง Gates 43546 Water Pump for Ford 7.3L Diesel Engine by Larry Morris

why pay at Water Pumps

I'm usually a fan of motorcycles. But for the price I thought it was worth a try. I almost ordered both pumps just to see where double and triple the value is. But I didn't. So Gates will fit into this round. I can't say anything about the durability of this product. I want those who have ridden more than 100,000 miles on the Gates to report the news here. And not just those who couldn't complain. I'm sure there are far more people who have passed the 100,000 mark than those who have failed. Gates also has videos and literature showing how not to use sealant on a gasket. How many losers admit to adding sealant to a gasket? Upon inspection, the pump seemed fine to me. The main thing is the front bearing. Because it can bear so much weight and stress from the fan and pulley. Processing seems to be ok. I'm not sure which wheel metal is best. But with the galvanizing everything should be fine. I tried to take pictures of the bearing and inside where the shaft is. Also, you can see from my photos that the spacer that comes with it stays in place very well without holding it. You can also see that it came with a 90 angle for earlier 7.3 engines. There is a ring for the lower connections. Whether straight or curved. Thermostat gasket, although my stat had a gasket. While everything is being finalized I have ordered a thermostat housing blank. I bought a stamped motor steel two years ago and it's already rusted. i have hiwow I found this on Amazon. I seem nice enough. Has 3 color options and is much cheaper than others with names printed on it. I hope this review and photos will be useful to someone. I know I read and read forever trying to decide which pump. Even though I can afford more expensive ones, I get wiser or dumber as I get older. I will update this if I ever run into any problems. And my truck only gets 8-10k a year. So it will be a long time before I can confirm longevity. But I do like to update Amazon reviews as I come across them here and there. Just take a look. Update 05/11/20 - still works fine. No questions. Mileage less than 4,000 km. No leaks. The truck stays cool. Will spend the summer here in the desert If I don't forget, I'll get back to you later. 11/04/20 - Almost a year has passed. No problem. Got through the summer well. The thermostat never read hot at all. Probably only about 5-6 thousand on it. 7/1/21 - still works great.
