Review on 🌈 Geeetech Mix Color Extruder Assembly - GIANTARM 220x220x260mm by Darrin Parasson

Very impressed with this printer and its features; I print ABS, PLA, TPU and PETG with no problems that I wouldn't have with a printer that costs 2-3 times more. I have since upgraded the printer (bltouch, magnetic platform) and cannot praise it for its stability, stability and print quality. You need to pay attention to seepage and heat creep in nozzle design, but it's worth it to get color mixing capabilities. 9/10 total + pre-wired for bltouch, plugs straight into the extruder's circuit board + color mixing capabilities! + marlin 2.0 with vertabreak's custom firmware + excellent build quality - stable printer with good tolerances; nothing is bent, dangling, or wobbling—this printer isn't quiet; Think of a 2000 inkjet printer working right next to you - only Geetech nozzles can be used. Packaging and assembly The printer was well packaged and documented. With test thread, two spare nozzles, two spool holders and a few other little extras. Assembly was easy: 4 screws attached the pre-assembled vertical frame/gantry to the base; 4 bolts for attaching spool holders; and 4 more to attach the filament detectors. Print Quality The supplied test print (dog color mix) came out of the box very well, with minimal sag at the protrusions and excellent surface detail and finish. This was a little harder to reproduce with my own prints but with some tweaking I'm definitely getting close, this is a printer that likes to print FAST (75-100mm/s) so the nozzle isn't cooled by the filament flow and minimizes the possibility of leakage. At slower speeds I'm still working on retract and other tweaks to fix bleeding issues. Extruders are also amazingly efficient with flexible or other filaments. They also have adjustable tension so you can adjust them as they age or tweak them for a specific yarn.
