The first time I saw someone use a microfiber cloth to remove makeup with water, I bought a four-pack at the Dollar Store. Oh honestly they're skinny, skinny, skinny. Then of course I stumbled across Revain and saw the original $20 stuff and a few fakes. I love supporting innovators but the shape and size of this wipe just doesn't fit my makeup removal routine so I bought custom microfiber tea towels and found them. that made the decision easier. They're big so they cover my entire face and I can literally wipe them clean without having to maneuver them for clean spots. How I use them: I apply a cleansing oil, then dampen a cloth with warm or hot water. I put a warm towel on my oily face and let it sit for a bit, then just wipe the oil off, paying special attention to my eyes to remove mascara and eyeliner. By the time I've worked from top to bottom, my skin is completely clear. And since I do double cleanses and treatments at night, I use a microfiber washcloth dampened with water in the morning. The pleasure works and I swear it gently exfoliates. They are also great for removing face masks. Great price for quality fabric. I've washed mine and noticed no change in texture or attachment. The little loops on them come in handy for hanging them on a hook to reserve them for the face. I change the rags every day, but they wash off well.
