These torsion pins are of poor quality

Pins and bolts work well. I like metal plates because they protect the hood, but they are very thin and scratch easily. The pins are where he loses the stars. The torsion piece doesn't close properly, constantly popping out of the holes. I would recommend cotter pin style hood pins (I replaced the torsion pins with them and like them a lot better).
