Well I'm definitely not impressed with these markers. They're not very opaque, and when I cling to subtlety, I usually turn to the details of the finish. Anyone interested in their art knows that you don't need to apply multiple coats to finish parts or anything. Also, the pen is hard and scratches when writing/drawing. I've had mine for almost 2 months now and I haven't even unpacked 4 of them simply because I avoid them when I can as I don't like them that much. On my small test pattern you can see that they are not very opaque. . There is a distinct difference between a dark surface and a white or light one. It took a good close-up to show there's still no haze over the pennant market, no leaking tracks. You'll also notice that when I layer one marker over another, they tend to reactivate the existing color (this is most noticeable with red over blue). FULL 3 MINUTES before use and prime the pen on waste paper prior to application.
