Chip design gone. Be careful.
My mug design started cracking after only 2 weeks of use. I assumed the design was engraved on the mug, but that's just a thin foil that peels off easily. I didn't microwave it and didn't use it in the dishwasher like the instructions say. I've used it for drinking hot tea and coffee and I've hand washed it very gently, but if that was a problem, it's just an Animal Crossing pen holder now. The design change effect worked great but it's a shame I can't use the mug anymore.
