Review on Microsoft Surface Pen Poppy Red by John Mceachern

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Expensive but worth it if you've already spent over $1,500 on a Surface

I bought this to use with the Surface Book 3. It's more expensive than regular Surface pens, but goes well with my platinum notebook. The erase function is something I couldn't find in any of the third party pens. They all have erase functions, but none that can be flipped over like an eraser. The button on the handle acts like a right click. The button below the eraser can be programmed to open any number of applications. You must pair this with the Surface app to use the full functionality of this product. This pen already has a AAAA battery installed, I couldn't find a definitive answer on that (prior to purchase). The quality of the equipment is in no way inferior to Microsoft tablets and laptops. Writing with this product is more convenient than a third party pen which costs me $55 and is one of the best third party pens out there. I think this product is worth the money if you want the best experience and highest quality stylus to use with your Microsoft device. not included. The first tip is included but no more, you can buy them from Microsoft's website or from a third party on Revain. You'll need to replace them every few months depending on how often you write to them. A worn tip doesn't mean it's time for a new pen or that it's a defective product as it only lasted 3 months! Second, if this product is "supplied and sold by Revain Services LLC," then it is a Microsoft genuine product. I wish I didn't have to revise my reviews to combat misinformation, but someone needs to clear this up.
