These aluminum wire ties work but they have a smaller diameter than I expected. The size is in the product description so it is my fault for not verifying. I can say that I expected something close to the diameter of chain link fencing since it’s in the title. They do make chain link in different diameters but I have never seen any chain link anywhere near this small. The ties are about as thick as a 14 gauge solid electrical wire. A more recognizable comparison might be that they are a little thicker than a mountain bike spoke but thinner than a wire hanger.They are flexible, easy to use and to wrap securely. If you’re planning on using these on chain link fencing, even light gauge chain link fencing I would suggest another product. On the other hand if you’re using these to secure chicken wire, roles of smaller diameter animal fencing or lightweight welded fencing these wire ties are perfect for those applications.
