These straws are pretty but break very easily and cannot be cleaned. I quickly found that any kind of milk was forbidden, so I only allowed them to use a straw for water or light juice. However, after a few uses I wasn't sure if the straws were clean and started throwing them away. Also, the kids always threw a straw down the sink if I didn't know it was there. or didn't move it out of the way before putting the dishes in the sink, the ends of the straws snapped off, resulting in rough, jagged edges. I'm only giving these straws 2 stars because my kids love them. They would be fine for one time use at a birthday party or something but definitely not a product that can be used over and over again.
