Glass quality was not perfect in production. It had a 3" tear/line (not leaking) and a shattered glass bubble in the defect. It looked awful as the glass was fogged up all around. It also has a large opening for a piece of plastic cork, which isn't easy on the eye. I ordered a replacement as it is difficult to find a genuine lead free decanter. They charge the same price as I could buy a nice leaded one. Be careful as so-called lead-free materials can contain up to 16% lead. This decanter is lightweight and definitely lead-free glass, so it should be cheaper. I bought 2 of these and the other had a thin line in the glass going from bottom to top but was less noticeable so I didn't send it back. Update: Revain did a great job replacing it within 5 days. Free delivery even on Sundays. It was in perfect condition as there were no defects on the glass.
