Perfect factory part for 2021 VW ID4

I have checked the part numbers through my local VW dealer. This is the correct towbar cable connector for VW ID.4 1st edition 2021 or if your vehicle was fitted with a towbar (Pro S). A plug is installed on the right (passenger side) of the receiver. Remove the screws and remove the factory fitted connector (save the screws). You'll need to insert your finger to hold the car's wiring harness connector while you press the small red tab to unlock the connector. (I used a tiny flathead screwdriver) then pull the connector cap down and then slide the Pollack block up into the hole until you hear/feel them click together. You'll probably have to stick your finger in to hold the connector on the side of the car while it snaps into place. Then just tighten the screws and you're done. **Note**: The vehicle will not supply 12V to the outlets until it detects a load (multiple lights) such as a trailer connected. If you test the connections with a multimeter before plugging the trailer in, you won't get a 12 volt signal, but it shouldn't be bad and the connector is fine. Find a trailer to try it out. I drove to my local U-Haul facility and just hooked up with one of their backyard trailers to check it out. Hope that helps. Please give a thumbs up if you can
