I just bought a new car so of course I needed a new phone mount. On my last machine I used a mount that plugged into the CD slot - CDs are no longer available so a vent was pretty much the only option. I really wasn't optimistic about my choice as everything I saw seemed a bit crappy. And really, the first thing I tried was crap. Then I tried this one and hey! He does what I want! I have a firm grip on the air vent and the phone sits at a good angle. I also don't feel like the vent is particularly clogged. It seems to me that this is the most reliable way to fix the vent.
