This product has stopped working and I thought it was a dead battery. I opened it up and found there was water in the block. Let it dry for a few days and then try again, the display will not work properly and eventually the device will die completely. I checked my Revain order and found that this product is listed with a lifetime guarantee so as you might expect I was very pleased to see this. I went to Simple Goods website and ended up emailing the company (support@simplegoods.com) asking for a refund or replacement, that was almost 3 weeks ago and I never got a response. So I emailed them again 4 days ago 7/12/20 and they still haven't responded to tell me anything. Apparently it's very easy to stick a lifetime warranty label on your product and then just not respond to customers who have problems. You just lost my business and I hope anyone thinking of buying this thermometer will reconsider their decision based on my experience. bothered to read their emails. With that being said I will go ahead and update my review, maybe they had a reason to wait so long, maybe because of Covid, maybe. However, it should take more than a month before you get an answer.
