My mum has a shoulder injury so she usually uses these travel essentials for everyday use. It's a bit more expensive, but it has a rectifier. Good quality hair dryer - and works well, as do travel hair dryers. As someone with thick hair they never work for me but for my mom who needs a lighter blow dryer and has thin hair this is a good option. However, you pay for a set - and a travel straightener probably won't be used in this house as I prefer to use full-size products - and my mom doesn't straighten her hair.
