The description says "Permanent full DDC/EDID emulation for video compatibility and stability" but the video was not stable. The device came with a printed user manual that asked you to switch to a computer before booting. The permanent full DDC/EDID emulation is designed to ensure that the connected monitor's signal is emulated to the computer, even if you haven't switched to it before booting. I also had inconsistent video behavior even when selecting a computer before downloading. At times I've had both incorrect resolution and total video loss (which can be fixed by unplugging and plugging the video cable back in). This is NOT the promised video stability that I expected based on the product description!
