Review on Continental PremiumContact 6 225/55 R17 97 year old by Wiktor Janic ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

Excellent tires! Used 225/45/17 on skoda fantastic. The Pirelli P7 was brand new from the manufacturer; the handling was superb, but it wore out very rapidly over the course of the season. By the second race, the tire had already become quite noisy and wooden. After that, I went with the Bridge MY 02 sport style. It was gentle, quiet, and didn't leave for a very long time (as is customary for the Bridge). However, after switching to Pirelli, it became instantly apparent that it holds less well and breaks down in corners. And last, I've found that Conti6 strikes the perfect balance for me. Holds up well, is not any worse than a Pirelli, is quiet like a Bridge, and has a medium level of hardness. It has lasted for two and a half seasons, making it comparable to a Pirelli. In general, I am very happy with the rubber; I paid close to 6,000 dollars for a tire, read a lot of reviews and testimonials, and determined that it is nearly the best option available in this price range (the MICHELIN Pilot Sport 4 is superior but more expensive). Please suggest some reliable tires.

Pros
  • Handling, braking, aquaplaning, quiet, value for money
Cons
  • Therefore, there are none of them. The wear is not quick, but it is short. It might have been possible to make it more durable.
