Omg this thing is loud! It’s small, discrete and fits in your hand. It has two speakers one in the front and one in the back. Yes, very tiny speakers but they are there, and they help make this thing loud. When you get it if you want to test it, I suggest you place it in a pillow or comforter to help drown the noise. Pull the pin (the circle looking thing at the top) and push it back in to shut it off. It’s rechargeable with a USB cord (included) and when the battery gets low it starts to beep like a smoke detector that needs it’s battery changed. It also has a small flashing strobe light in the front that turns on when it goes off. On standby they say it should last about 6 months before the manufacture recommends you recharge it. You can put it on as a keychain or clip it somewhere. I am using the clip on it’s nice to have on the purse. I don’t feel comfortable using it on the key chain because it clips on to the pin you pull and I am not trying to have an accidental pull, which is what I’m afraid may happen using it on a key chain.
