To be honest I was very disappointed with this tray. I had such high expectations, especially considering the cost of it. I never thought I would buy a tray that cost me more than $50. My cat loves kicking her litter to make sure she covers everything. Leaving cat litter on carpets and rugs. I'm done with it because I can't get her to stop. When I saw this cat box I thought it would be a good soliton to at least keep so much cat litter from spilling out of the box. My first issue with this litter box was that I couldn't snap it all over the box. I better have it locked so not much litter can come out, but it still happens. the door leaf does not hold properly. Then when it comes time to clean her tray, I have to tip it on its side to move the trash around so the trash doesn't spill all over the place when I pull out the tray. It's not as easy to clean as I've jumped. Half the time I just hold it and scoop the trash out the cat door. without leaving much space to pick everything up. It's less messy doing it that way than trying to figure it out. I wish I could just buy a cheaper closed tray instead of spending money on a tray that looks better than most. I recommend buying another litter box, especially if you have more than 1 cat. it doesn't have as much litter in it as other cat boxes.
